The RAFYC is delighted to be working in partnership with Appetite Gourmet Cuisine led by Vicky Mansfield and her crew.
Appetite Gourmet Cuisine is an exciting new business that has a strong ethos of creating a fine food experience, always derived from finest ingredients sought out from local suppliers and combining them in the most delicious recipes influenced from Vicky's experience of food from her travels around the world.
Since joining the RAFYC Team in May 2011, Vicky has brought her passion and excitement to bear on the catering experience at the RAFYC much to the delight of her customers. Vicky's "Round the World" theme nights in combination with the legendary Club Happy Hour (now extended) from 18:00 to 20:00 have become quickly renowned for being the place to be in Hamble on a Friday night.
About Vicky and Appetite
Vicky has a flair for culinary delights, and a range of experience working under top names including Rick Stein and Michelin Star chefs including Nathan Outlaw. Vicky has returned to Hamble after an exciting career in super yacht catering , where she was on board head-chef in New York and the Caribbean and she is well known in the village for her finesse and skills in the world of fine food.
Having worked in kitchens as a chef since 16, Vicky trained as a professional chef at 18, and in 2009 completed an Advanced Diploma from Leiths School of Food and Wine in London. Vicky also sought work experience during her diploma and trained with many top chefs at Michelin Starred Restaurants.
Vicky has worked at Pescadou Restaurant in Padstow where Vicky cooked fine food for celebrities and stars such as Ainsley Harriet, Fern Britten and Phil Vickery, before moving on to work with Rick Stein at St. Petroc's Bistro.
Working so close to the sea gave Vicky a chance to cook with the freshest fish and seafood available, at some of the countries best seafood restaurants.

Rallies and Visiting Yacht Clubs
If you are thinking of arranging a group dining event as a visiting yacht club, the RAFYC would make a great choice. We offer superb food, a well stocked bar in an excellent location. We have specially created Rally Menus available and we can even arrange local moorings at Port Hamble marina with direct access to the club. If you are thinking about a date in the Hamble for a Rally why not put us on your calendar?
